Man Charged With Christopher Jackson Murder
A man has been charged with the murder of a 53-year-old neighbour found stabbed to death at his home in Dublin at the weekend, a court was told yesterday.
The body of Christopher Jackson, who had sustained multiple stab wounds, was discovered on Saturday in a flat at Prussia Street, on Dublin’s northside.
His corpse had been concealed in a plastic bag in a wardrobe at the flat for approximately two days.
Yesterday morning 39-year-old Bernard Locke, also with an address at Prussia Street, was brought before Dublin District Court accused of murdering Mr Jackson.
When charged with the murder Mr Locke said, “no response”.
He has not yet indicated how he will plead to the charge and has been remanded in custody.

Man Charged Over Serious Assault
A man in his 20s is expected to appear in court, charged in connection with a serious assault that happened at Dorset Street, Dublin. On Sunday morning, at around 1.45am, Gardaí were called to the scene at an apartment at Kelly's Row. A man, aged in his 30s, was suffered serious injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 34-year-old man is to appear in court today after being charged with the murder of a man in Dublin. Thomas O'Gorman, 39, was found severely beaten and stabbed to death at his home in Beechpark Avenue, Castleknock, early on Sunday morning. Gardaí have described the killing as "gruesome".
