Armed Robbers Raid Navan Post Office
Gardai are searching for an armed gang who raided a post office in Navan at around 11am today.
Two men men entered the post office at Black Castle, one of which was armed with a pistol which he fired into the ceiling.
Within two minutes the men, who were wearing helmets, made off with thousands of euros and a small amount of Dollars and Sterling.
They travelled a short distance on a motorbike, before transferring into a blue Audi A4, which had been stolen in Drogheda.
The Audi crashed at Hayestown and the robbers escaped on foot.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Arrested Over Kerry Post Office Raid
A woman has been arrested in connection with an armed raid at a post office in Co Kerry. The suspect was arrested at around 5.30pm in Killarney on Thursday, 04 August. A sum of cash was stolen from Waterville Post Office at around 11am on Wednesday, 03 August. Two men were arrested in the area after the incident.

Gardaí in Co Kilkenny are appealing for information on two separate armed robberies of post offices on Monday. In the first incident three men, one armed with a sawn-off shotgun, entered a post office in Clogherhead at about 11:45.

Gardaí are seeking four men in connection with an armed robbery of a post office in County Kerry. Two men, one carrying a pistol and the other a baseball bat, entered the Tarbet Post Office at about 16:00 on Tuesday and threatened staff while a third man stood blocking the door. There were no customers in the post office at the time.

Armed Men Rob Post Office
Gardaí at Raheny have launched and investigation into the robbery of the post office in Kilbarrack on Tuesday morning. Two men entered the premises and made demands for money. One was armed with what is believed to be a handgun and the other with a knife and a hammer. There were two members of staff and two customers in the post office at the time.
