Gardaí Seize Cannabis Worth Up €900,000
Cannabis worth over €900,000 has been seized by the Gardai in raids in Wexford and Galway over the weekend.
Nine people were arrested during the weekend raids in Enniscorthy, Tuam and Oughterard.
Officers in Wexford arrested two men and a woman in a house in Glenbrien, Enniscorthy, on Saturday afternoon, seizing cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €164,000.
The three, aged in their 40s and 20s, are currently being held under Section Two of The Criminal Justice Act 1996 at Enniscorthy garda station
And Gardaí in Co Galway are continuing to question six Vietnamese people after seizing €750,000 worth of cannabis during a raid of three grow houses in the county.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
