A man has been remanded in custody in connection with the death of 25-year-old Anna Finnegan, who was stabbed at her home in Dublin on Friday night.
Anna Finnegan was attacked in her home by ex-partner Vesel Jahiri, who left her at the entrance to the emergency department of James Connolly Memorial Hospital, in Blanchardstown, after the attack around 9pm on Friday.
She was pronounced dead about 90 minutes later.
Her two children, aged two years and nine months, were asleep upstairs in the house at the time of the stabbing. Her brother, Karl Finnegan, was also injured in the attack and is in a stable condition at James Connolly hospital.
