Gardai Investigate After Man Is Shot

Gardai are carrying out an investigation after a man was shot in the leg and arm in Dublin.

The incident occurred at around 6.30pm in Palmerstown Park in Ronanstown.

The victim, 26, was taken to Connolly Hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the possibility of a shooting in the city, after finding an injured man lying on the ground on Sunday night. Gardai at Store Street Garda Station suspect a shooting incident to have taken place at around 10.00pm at West Road, East Wall, Dublin. Gardai on patrol in the area came upon a man lying on the footpath.

Investigation Into Longford Body Find
Gardai are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man whose body was discovered in Co. Longford on Sunday evening. It is understood that the body of the man was found in a housing estate near Kenagh. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Gardai Question Man Following Gun Attack
A man, 19, is being questioned by gardai after an 18-year-old was shot at around 3pm in Memorial Park, Inchicore. The victim was shot in the head and neck and is believed to be in a critical condition in hospital. It is understood the teen managed to call the emergency services from his mobile phone.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
