Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid

Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night.

At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them.

The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

The workers were not seriously injured.

Gardai made two arrests close by and recovered the money.

Two men are being questioned at Coolock garda station.

A woman has been arrested in connection with an armed raid at a post office in Co Kerry. The suspect was arrested at around 5.30pm in Killarney on Thursday, 04 August. Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Gardaí Seize Firearms And Drugs From Dublin Apartment
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, have been arrested following the seizure of firearms and drugs during a search of a Dublin apartment. The Gardaí found cocaine with a street value of €100,000, ecstasy tablets worth €11,5 and cannabis worth €6,000 in the Clondalkin flat. Two shotguns and a ammunition were also seized during the evening raid.

Three Men Arrested In Connection With Post Office Raid Released Without Charge
Three men arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of a Dublin post office have been released without charge. It is understood three masked suspects armed with knives, a crowbar and other implements entered the building on Leonard's Corner at around 12:30pm yesterday, 03 December.
