Family Members Charged With 2011 Tesco Robbery

Three family members have been charged with the theft of over €75,000 from a Tesco supermarket in Co Westmeath two years ago.

38-year-old Edward Conners, from Castleraven, Nurney in Co Kildare, and his two nephews 25-year-old Larry and 23-year-old William Conners, from Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Tallaght respectively, appeared before Mullingar District Court charged with theft and possession of an imitation handgun at the Tesco Express store in Castlepollard on 14 March, 2011.

The three were remanded in custody to appear again before Cloverhill District Court on January 30, by Judge Seamus Hughes.

Man Due In Court Over Clonmel Death
A 28-year-old man is due to appear before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court, charged in connection with the death of a 45-year-old man whose body was found in a house in the town at the weekend. Man Charged With West Cork Arson Attacks
A man has been charged with a series of arson attacks in Skibbereen, west Cork. 30-year-old Sean Byrne, of Bohernabreegha, Drimoleague, appeared at Clonakilty District Court accused of six separate arson attacks at a number of locations in Skibbereen.
