Man Remanded Over Murder Of Jamie Lindsay
A man has appeared in Naas District Court charged with the murder of Jamie Lindsay in Co Kildare last Saturday.
Darren Wynne of Ballyroe was remanded in detention at St Patrick's Institution and is due to appear in court on Thursday.
No application for bail was made.
Mr Lindsay was shot near his home in the Coneyboro Estate in Athy.
Three other people who were arrested remain in custody.

Two Charged With The Murder Of James Lindsay
Two men have been charged with the murder of Jamie Lindsay. Quentin Monaghon, 20, and James Seery, 21 appeared before Athy District Court today. Mr Lindsay was shot at Coney Green in Athy on 6th April this year. The two men have been remanded in custody and are to appear before Kilcock District Court on 1st October.

A man has been charged with a series of arson attacks in Skibbereen, west Cork. 30-year-old Sean Byrne, of Bohernabreegha, Drimoleague, appeared at Clonakilty District Court accused of six separate arson attacks at a number of locations in Skibbereen.

The next hearing of Ivor Callely's case against the Seanad Committee over his expenses claims has been scheduled for next Tuesday. Senator Callely took the proceedings after being suspended from the Seanad by the committee for 20 days over a number of allegedly fraudulent expense claims.

Judge To Rule Again On Zoe Protection
Eamon Carroll's troubled property group Zoe is to go back to the High Court today to find out if it will be allowed a fourth bid to gain court protection. Mr Justice Frank Clarke last week again rejected an application from the heavily indebted group for the appointment of an examiner to seven of the Zoe companies.
