Cannabis Grow House Uncovered After Fire In Neighbouring House
A house fire has lead to the discovery of a cannabis grow house in a next-door property.
Fire fighters tackling a blaze at a house on Tyrconnell Street in Inchicore, Dublin, broke into the adjoining house to ensure the blaze did not spread.
Once inside, they discovered the property was being used as a grow house and contained cannabis with an estimated street value of €80,000.
Gardai described the scene as an "elaborate cultivation site".

Gardaí launched a search operation at a rural dwelling at Moyvoughly in Moate on Thursday evening, 01 September. Cannabis plants in various stages of growth were discovered in what garda described as a "highly sophisticated" grow house.

Man In 60s Held Over Cannabis Discovery
A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a cannabis grow house in Co Wexford. The man was found to be growing the plants in the upstairs of his house in Chapelwood, Kilmuckbridge when gardai responded to a call out at the address on Sunday at around 15:30.

Investigation Launches Following Fatal House Fire In Co Cavan
An investigation has been launched following a fatal house fire in Co Cavan. The blaze was reported in the Church Street area at 2.15pm on Monday. Emergency services attained the scene and woman's body was discovered in the house. She is believed to be aged in her 70's.
