Agreement Reached In Bus Éireann Dispute

Unions and Bus Éireann management have reached an agreement in a dispute over cuts.

The two sides met at the Labour Relations Commission for talks that lasted some 23 hours.

According to RTÉ if the trade union members accept the agreement it will take effect from June 01 and then run until January 2015.

Minister for transport Leo Varadker welcomed news of the agreement, which was preceded by three days of strike action.

Agreement Reached With ASTI On Haddington Road Agreement
Following the Association of Secondary Teachers re-entering formal talks over the disputed Haddington Road agreement it has been reported that an agreement has been reached. According to reports ASTI reached an agreement following talks with the Department of Education, which will now be put to a ballot of the unions 17,000 members.

Two Week Agreement Reached In Dublin Airport Taxi Row
An agreement has been reached between the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) and taxi driver representatives after a two-day dispute. It will see 70 parking spaces, which was the cause of the dispute, reinstated to taxi drivers for two weeks. More talks are to take place for a more permanent resolution.

Sinn Féin has called for an urgent debate to be held in the Dáil on the Climate Change Agreement reached in Paris. Party president Gerry Adams described the outcome as "an important step forward. SIPTU and TEEU representatives signed a cost saving agreement with the management of Balfour Beatty CLG Limited which protects the terms and conditions of employment of over 250 employees at the construction company.

Dispute Between FAI And Women's National Team Resolved
A dispute between the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and the senior women's national football team has been resolved. The team claimed they had been treated like "fifth class citizens" and were forced to share tracksuits with underage teams. Siptu confirmed an agreement on the issues had been secured.
