Man Killed In Co Galway Crash
A man has died in a single vehicle road crash in Co Galway in the early hours of Monday morning, RTÉ have reported.
The 24-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a traffic island at around 2.30am at Knockdoe on the N17 Galway to Tuam road.
The road has been closed for a technical examination, and a post mortem on the victim will be carried out at Galway University Hospital.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Galway Garda Station 091-538000.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Storm warnings have been issued for most of the country after hundreds of households were left without power in east Galway, south Roscommon and west Offaly . Severe storms uprooted trees and brought down power lines, with some reports alleging small tornadoes were observed in parts of Offaly.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.
