Search Continues In Murdered Ex-Garda's Back Yard
A search of the home and garden of a murdered former detective garda has entered its second day.
Excavation work began on Tuesday morning of the back patio area, garda believe another body may be buried under it.
The search began aftwr two men were arrested on Monday in connection with the murder of former detective garda John Kerins, who was shoot last November.
According to RTÉ, a large amount of concrete was laid at the rear of Mr Kerins’ house not long after the disappearance of his neighbour, Gerard Daly, two years ago.
It is understood that the Mr Kerins and Mr Daly had planned to go into business together before he suddenly disappeared.
The investigation and search is ongoing.

Major Drug Seizure Made In Limerick Search Operation
Cocaine, cannabis and MDMA worth more than €140,000 has been seized by Gardaí in a raid in Limerick. The seizure was made during a search operation in the Castleconnell area of the city on Sunday, 11 August. They found €120,000 worth of cocaine, €20,000 worth of cannabis herb, along with MDMA and shotgun cartridges.
