Special Court Set In At Prison For G8 Arrests
A special court is to be established at the Cloverhill prison complex in west Dublin specifically to deal with arrests made during the G8 summit in Co Fermanagh next week.
It is understood that, if needed, the court will sit both day and night and is sited in the prison complex so that anyone remanded in custody can be moved by tunnel directly from the courthouse to the jail.
Meanwhile an additional 500 troops have been put on stand-by ready to supplement the 900 garda officers policing the border regions during the summit.
