Investigation Launched After Discovery Of Mother And Daughters Bodies
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the bodies of a mother and daughter at their home in Co Kerry on Sunday evening.
According to the gardaí the bodies of a 27-year-old woman and 8-year-old girl where found at around 20:30 on Sunday at a house on Langford Downs. It is understood that the mother and daughter may have suffered a "violent death".
Gardaí have said that the woman, originally from Lithuania, was found in a downstairs room and the child upstairs.
The house has been sealed ahead of a forensic investigation.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen the woman in the past week to contact them.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.

Gardaí have reported that the body of Frankie Devlin was recovered on Wednesday 9 October. Ms Devlin (67) was reported missing on Saturday 5 October and a search operation had been ongoing. The discovery was made on the same day that garda had renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Ms Devlin.

Four Girls In Hospital After Aerosol Explosion
Garda are investigating the circumstances surrounding four girls ending up in hospital after an aerosol exploded in a house in Drogheda on Sunday. The girls are being treated in hospital, two in Crumlin's children's hospital and two in Tallaght, following the incident. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Named as Jolanta Lubiene (27) and her daughter Enrika (8), their bodies were found at their home in Killorglin on Sunday night. A post-mortem examination has confirmed that they were stabbed to death.

Man Arrested In Michael Devoy Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Michael Devoy in January this year have arrested a man in his early 20s. A routine garda patrol in the Bohernabreena area of Tallaght, found the body of Mr Devoy on 18 January. He had been shot dead. Garda have confirmed they have arrested a man in his early 20s in connection with the murder.
