Arrest Made In Connection With Sexual Assault On Special Needs Woman

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault on a woman with special needs last Wednesday.

It is understood that the woman, in her 20s, became separated from a family member in the area of the South Circular Road around 16:00 last week. It is thought she was then approached by a man and taken to a house in Portobello.

The suspect was arrested in Dublin city centre this morning and is being held at Kevin Garda Station.
