Gardai Investigate Pipe Bomb Incident In Dublin

Gardai are currently investigating a pipe bomb incident in Dublin this morning.

The bomb exploded on Apollo way at 12.30am in Coolock.

No one was injured in the incident.

Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Gardai Investigate After Man Is Shot
Gardai are carrying out an investigation after a man was shot in the leg and arm in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm in Palmerstown Park in Ronanstown. The victim, 26, was taken to Connolly Hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

Gardai are investigating a stabbing incident in a bar in Dolphin's Barn, Dublin. A 22-year-old man was stabbed a number of times by another man at approximately 11.45pm last night. The attacker escaped from the scene. The victims injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Bomb Making Components Recovered In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin requested the assistance of Army bomb experts after bomb making components were found. According to garda the incident began at about 12:30 on Thursday afternoon when components where uncovered in the Broadstone area in Phibsboro. The nearby Dublin Bus depot was closed while an army bomb disposal team examined the scene.

Security Alert At Dublin Garda Station
A garda station in Dublin has been evacuated following the discovery of a suspect package, understood to have been addressed to Justice Minister Alan Shatter. According to reports, the package was discovered by staff at a sorting office, who alerted garda, and triggered a security alert.

Homes Damaged After Car Explodes In Dublin
A number of homes have been damaged after a car exploded in Dublin on Sunday night. The incident happened in Long Lane at around 11pm. Army bomb experts were called in to examine the damage and the area is currently sealed off. Gardai are asking for any witnesses to contact them immediately.
