Protesters Shut Down Property Auction

A property auction being held at the Shelbourne Hotel has been cancelled after a small group of protestors disrupted the sale.

It is understood that the protesters targetted the auction by Allsop Space because they believe it to be a British firm of auctioneers brought in by Irish bankers.

It is a claim Allsop Space refute, saying they are an Irish-registered company with Irish employees.

The auction has been postponed indefinitely.
