Body Found In Co Donegal Had Been Dead For Two Days
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Co Donegal.
The body of a 50-year-old man was discovered in his home on Sunday afternoon.
Father-of-four Kieran Callaghan was found with head injuries at his home in the Churchill, Co Donegal.
An investigation was launched following a post-mortem examination that found Mr Callaghan had died from a blow to the head some time on Friday.
It is understood that Mr Callaghan was last seen in Churchill at around 6pm on Friday evening.
Gardai have asked for anyone with any information, or any one in the area who noticed anything unusual or suspicious, to contact Milford garda station on 074-9153060 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Garda Confirm Body Found In Co Donegal River
Gardaí have confirmed they have recovered a body in a river in Co Donegal. Garda said the body of a man was recovered from a river on the Inishowen peninsula on Sunday afternoon. The body was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post-mortem is due to be carried out today. The identity of the man has not been confirmed.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Suspicious Device Found In Co Donegal
Gardaí have sealed off an area in Buncrana, Co Donegal, where a suspicious device has been discovered outside a community centre. It was found on a wall beside the entrance to the centre at around 10am this morning (Wednesday). Students were collecting their leaving certificates when the device was discovered.

Badly Decomposed Body Found In Co Donegal
Walkers in Ballyrattan, near Redcastle, have discovered a body in an advance stage of decomposition. Two women out walking made the on the shores of Lough Foyle at about 4pm. The area has been sealed off by gardai and forensic experts are currently examining the scene.
