Final Day Of Debate Ahead Of Abortion Bill Vote
The Dáil will vote at midnight tonight on the proposed Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill, following the final day of discussions.
More than 160 amendments to the Bill have been put forward.
It is understood that ministers are not expect to have time to debate all amendments, with particular concerns being raised that they won't get to the section dealing with suicide.
In strong criticism, Archbishop Eamon Martin has said that TDs who vote in support of the legislation would be acting in "cooperation with evil".
Some 300 people opposed to the Bill held an overnight vigil at the Oireachtas.
