President Meets With Emigrant Community
Members of the Irish emigrant community in London are meeting with President Michael D Higgins.
He is visiting the Haringey Irish Cultural and Community Centre, where the manager and captain of the London Gaelic football team are among the guests.
President Higgins will also receive an honorary doctorate at the University of Middlesex later today.

UK State Visit To Start On Tuesday
Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore is to accompany President Higgins and Mrs Sabina Higgins on Ireland's State Visit to the UK this week. The visit will take place from 8 to 11 April.

The tragedy of suicide is to be in focus today when a high profile visitor arrives in north Belfast. The Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide & Self-harm, (PIP'S) is to welcome the President of Ireland Mary McAleese and her husband Martin to officially open the new PIP'S House headquarters in Belfast's Duncairn Gardens.

President Higgins To Visit London
President Michael D Higgins is to visit London later this month on his first official trip abroad. He will begin his three day tour on 21st February where he will visit the London Irish Centre. The President will travel to the Olympic Park and meet Lord Coe, President of the Olympic Games organising committee.

Aeromedical Service Launched In Munster
A new aeromedical service has commenced operations in Munster today, Tuesday 30 July. Launched by Minister for Health Simon Harris, the helicopter emergency medical service will connect seriously ill or injured people in remote areas with access to appropriate high-quality clinical care in a more timely manner.
