Public Transport Prices Could Increase Again
The CIE group of transport companies and the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA), who operate the Laus, have applied to increase prices again in 2014.
It follows the news the CIE group of companies had arranged €160 million in bank loans, however there are a number of performance targets they must hit before the money is released, including reducing costs and growing passengers of Dublin Busa Bus Eirann and Iarnrod Eirann.
It also follows a number of recent price increases, including two last years alone.
