Sea And Shore Search For Baby Called Off
A search operation for a suspect lost baby in Co Donegal has been called off.
The operation was launched after a woman's body was recovered from the sea close to Malin and a member of the public said they had seen the woman earlier that day with a baby.
However, the Police Service of Northern Ireland were able to confirm that the child mentioned was not missing.
It is believed the woman, from Derry, may have walked out to a causeway at low tide and was caught out when a high tide came in.
Last night's tide is said to have been one of biggest this year, according to Malin Head Coastguard.
