Testing Firm Fined Over Fatal 2006 Crash
A company has been fined €25,000 in connection with a bus crash that killed a 15-year-old boy in 2006.
Vehicle testing company O'Reilly Commercials Ltd was issued the fine after a judge found that they had failed to "ensure passengers were not exposed to safety risks."
The Dublin Circuit Criminal Court case followed an investigation into the 2006 crash, with killed Michael White and injured other students.
The crash happened near Clara, Co Offaly, on April 04, 2006.

The trial has begun of two Irish companies in connection with a fatal school bus crash in 2006. 15-year-old Michael White died on April 4 when the bus he was riding in went out of control and crashed near Clara in Co Offaly on 4 April.

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has revealed they are investigating over 400 cases of illegal driving instructors in Ireland. The department are also urging the general public to put a stop to unqualified driving instructors on our road by checking the instructor's credentials.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Men Arrested In Connection With 2006 Murder Of Denis Donaldson
Gardaí investigating the death of Denis Donaldson in 2006 have arrested two men in Co Donegal. Mr Donaldson, a senior Sinn Féin official, had been exposed as an agent for M15 in 2005. He was shot dead at an isolated cottage near Glenties, Co Donegal where he'd been living since his exposure.
