Man Charged With Petrol Bomb Attack On Killarney Garda Station

A man has been charged with arson in connection with a petrol bomb attack on Killarney Garda Station, the Irish Times have reported.

At a special sitting of the Killorglin District Court, the unidentified man was granted bail on strict conditions, and will appear again on Thursday at Tralee District Court.

According the Irish Times the man is in his 20s and from the Killarney area.

He was arrested after allegedly throwing an ignited container of petrol at the wall of the Garda station early yesterday, causing a small fire.

The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Man Arrested Following Double Murder
A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the double murder which happened in Killorglin, Co Kerry. Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika were found dead at their home on 16th June. The suspect is currently being detained in Killarney Garda Station.

Man Charged Over Petrol Station Robbery In Dublin
A man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a petrol station in Dublin. Gardaí said two men, one armed with what is believed to be a screw driver, entered the petrol station on Grange Road, Baldoyle, Dublin 13 at around 4pm on Tuesday, 31 October.

Finglas Shooting Victims Were 'Set Up'
Gardaí in North Dublin say they have reason to believe that the two men shot in a Finglas petrol station were "set up". The victims, Mark Noonan, 23, from O'Devaney Gardens and Glenn Murphy, 20, from the Drumlea Estate were shot dead on the forecourt of the Tesco Petrol Station at Clearwater in Finglas on Tuesday night.
