Irishman Wanted In US Remanded Until Next Week
The High Court has again remanded in custody a 28-year-old Irishman wanted in the US in connection with the online distribution of child abuse images and videos.
Eric Eoin Marques is described by US authorities as "the largest facilitator of child porn on the planet" and are seeking his extradition to the United States.
On Thursday morning, the High Court remanded Marques in custody to appear again in one week.

Man Remanded In Custody For Wasting Garda Time Over Alleged Kidnapping
A 68-year-old property developer has been charged with wasting Garda time, after falsely claiming to have been abducted for eight months. Kevin McGeever was arrested on Tuesday evening at his home in Clontarf, Dublin and taken to Gort in Galway, where the investigation into his alleged disappearance has been based.

Teen Remanded In Custody After Breaking Bail Conditions
A 17-year-old boy has been remanded in custody after continually breaking bail continues. He is charged with the robbery of a 27-year-old woman on the evening of February 25 last at Beresford Place, Dublin 1. It is understood that during the ‘phone snatch’ robbery the teenager tore hair from the woman’s head.

A 29-year-old man charged with torching the home of his ex-girlfriend in Dublin last weekend has been remanded in custody for a further two weeks. Last Sunday night several occupants of the house on the South Circular Road were rescued by garda using a ladder.
