Details of Revised Dublin Bus Deal Revealed
Details of the revised cost saving plan for Dublin Bus, written up at 5am on Thursday following 15 hour talks, have been revealed.
Under the revised agreement, staff would agree to a cut of overtime and allowances for a period of 19 months, while maintain pay and conditions at their current level.
The plan, in which Dublin Bus are looking to save €11.7 million, also commits to restoring the majority of existing terms and conditions in March 2015.
Drivers and other staff at Dublin Bus will now be balloted by SIPTU and the National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) over accepting or refusing the new deal. The results of the ballot are expected next Friday.

Gardaí Warn Of College Green Traffic Changes
A new traffic scheme that aims to significantly reduce journey times for cross city public transport and facilitate increased reliability and frequency starts in Dublin on Monday. The College Green Bus Corridor Scheme will be operational from Monday to Friday between the hours 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm inclusive.

Unions To Ballot Members Over Revised Dublin Bus Plan
Dublin Bus drivers and staff are to be balloted over a new Labour Court document created following talks between unions and management. SIPTU and the National Bus and Rail Union suspended their industrial action after three days to enter into renewed talks with Dublin Bus management over a dispute about cost saving plans.
