Fatal Road Crash At Blackrock
Gardai at Blackrock are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision at Frasctai Road, Blackrock, Co Dublin at approximately 8.40am this morning.
The incident occurred when a female cyclist, believed to be in her mid 20s, was hit by a truck. She was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The road has reopened to traffic following a technical examination.

Former Missionaries Teachers Charged With Indecent Assault Of Pupils
Three former teachers of a missionary order boarding school have been charged with the indecent assault of a number of pupils over a 20 year period. The charges come at the end of a two year investigation carried out by gardaí, following allegations of abuse at Coláiste Chroí Naofa in Carrignavar, Co Cork from the late 1960s on.

Two In Court Over Weekend Cocaine Seizure
A man and a woman have appeared in court charged in connection with a weekend seizure of 1kg of cocaine in Cork. 56-year-old Padraig Gavin and 22-year-old Jennifer Heaphy were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale or supply at Sallybrook, Glanmire, Co Cork on 23 March.

Gardai Appeal Over Blackrock Road Collision
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision in Blackrock in County Dublin yesterday. At about 13:40 a six-year-old boy pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on Cross Avenue, Blackrock. He was taken by ambulance to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and then removed to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
