Dublin Property Prices Rise But Prices Fall Nationally
There has been an 8% rise in property prices in Dublin in the last 12 months, according to the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
The figures show that in July, residential property prices increased by 3.3%, an 8% increase on the same period last year.
Nationally, property prices have fallen by 13.6% in the 12 months to July, leaving the Residential Property Price Index for the rest of Ireland, excluding Dublin, 1.5% lower than the same period in 2012.

There has also been a 12% increase in the year to February, and a 9.7% increase in the 12 months to February 2017. The latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) have revealed a 10.7% increase in residential property prices across Ireland. The figures show that in Dublin residential property prices increased by 8.3% in the year to February, Dublin house prices rose 8.1% and apartments increased 9.1% in the same period.
