Toddler Drowns In County Waterford

A toddler has died after drowning on a beach in County Waterford.

The incident happened on a beach in Boatsrand at around 7pm on Thursday night.

The two-year-old was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Three Killed In Waterford Road Crash
Three men have died following a road traffic collision in Waterford. According to Gardaí, two cars collided on the N72 between the junctions with the N25 and the R672 at around 10am on Sunday, 04 December. It is understood six occupants of one of the cars were all taken to hospital by air.

Man Killed In Road Crash In Waterford
A man has died in a road crash in Waterford. The collision, between a truck and a car, happened on the N25 just after Kilmacthomas at around 7.50am on Tuesday, 10 May. The man, aged in his late 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck did not require medical attention.

Co Waterford Man Dies In Thailand
A 24-year-old man from Co Waterford has reportedly died in a drowning incident in Thailand. The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that an Irishman identified as David Houlihan from the Dungarvan area, died following an "incident". A full investigation into the cause of Mr Houlihan's death is underway.
