Customers Invited To Exchange Unused HMV Gift Cards

All outstanding HMV gift cards will be accepted and exchanged for new card accepted by the new business.

When the retailer entered receivership in January, customers feared they were going to miss out as it was announced that the retailer would no longer honour the cards.

Hilco Captial have now announced that customers with outstanding gift cards can exchange them for new cards. Customers must register their card online and they will then be issued a new one from October 14 onwards.

They will then have until November 15 to redeem the new card in one of HMV's four stores on Henry Street, The Dundrum Centre and Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin and the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick and the dual-branded Xtra-Vision/ HMV stores around the country.
