Man Dies In Co Kildare Road Crash
A 35-year-old man has been killed in a single-vehicle collision in Co Kildare.
The crash, which injured two other men, happened on the Clane to Kilcock Road at around 9.25am on Sunday.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men travelling in the car, understood to be aged 24 and 49, are being treated at Tallaght Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí have appeal for any witnesses to the crash, or any one who may have been on the road at the time, to contact them at Kilcock Garda Station on 01-6757390, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800666111 or any garda station.

Road Death Toll Growing
Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyine, Co Carlow at 12.45am this morning. A man of 68 was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall. He was brought to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Two men have died in a road traffic collision involving two trucks in Co Monaghan. The crash happened on the N2 between Carrickmacross and Castleblayney at around 6am this morning, 11 January. It is understood the men were the sole occupants of their trucks. The road remains closed. Local diversions are in place.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.
