Doctors Join In Criticism Of 'Arthur's Day'

Guinness' 'Arthur's Day' celebrations have been condemned as "irresponsible" by the Royal College of Physicians.

The marketing initiative, spearheaded by Guinness owners Diageo, is due to be discussed by doctors at a public meeting in Dublin.

The event, which Diageo has said is a unique music event, has been the focus of increased criticism, with Christy Moore even penning a song about it, in which he calls in an "alcoholiday".
