Gardaí Appeal For Missing 80-Year-Old Man
Gardaí in Co Galway have appealed for help in tracing an 80-year-old man who has been missing from a nursing home since Sunday evening.
Frank Helly has been missing from the home on Church Road since 19:00 on Sunday evening.
When last seen he was wearing a blue shirt and yellow tie, a maroon jumper and khaki trousers. He is described as being 6'1" tall.
They have appealed to landowners in the area to search their properties and have asked taxi drivers or other motorists who may have given Mr Helly a lift to contact Salthill Garda Station on 091-521333.

Two Missing People Found 'Safe And Well'
Two missing people, a 15-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, have both been found "safe and well". Cian Cleary, 15, who had been missing from Bray since Wednesday, 13 July, has been found. No further information has been released, however gardaí thanked the public for their help.

Garda have reported that both Hugh Doherty and Stephen Kehoe have been found "safe and well". An appeal for help in tracing Mr Doherty had been issued on Monday, 08 August. Mr Doherty, 38, had been missing from his home at Cois Caislean, Nurney, Co Kildare, since Sunday, 07 August.

Gardai in Co Kerry have issued an appeal to the public for information in connection with the murders of a mother and daughter over the weekend. The bodies of Jolanta Lubiene (27) and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika were found at their home in Kilorglin on Sunday evening.
