Man Charged With Wexford Man's Murder In Australia

An Irishman living in Australia has been charged with the murder of an Irish construction worker in Perth.

Vincent Martin Crowe appeared in court over the death of Wexford man Kenny Meyler, who died after being stabbed in the neck in February.

The incident happened in the Perth suburb of Scarborough.

It is understood that Mr Meyler was working in construction while in Australia and had been due to travel on to Sweden before the attack.

According to reports Crowe appeared in court today where he was remanded in custody to appear again for trial in November.

Irishman Charged With Murder In Australia
A 32-year-old Irishman in Perth, western Australia, has been charged with the murder of Kenny Myler from Wexford. Mr Meyler (21) suffered a stab wound to the neck in the Perth suburb of Scarborough on the afternoon of February 10th. Police attended the scene after receiving a call about a fight involving several men.

Taxi Driver Charged After Death Of Irishman
A taxi driver in connection with a fatal incident in Perth has been charged after an Irishman was killed. Ryan Doyle, 25, from Leitrim, was found lying on a road in the suburb of Belmont in the early hours of yesterday morning. Mr Doyle died from his injuries in hospital.

Irish Family Seriously Injured In Australia
Three members of the same family are said to be in a serious condition following a road accident in western Australia. Gerard and Marguerite Brosnan, who are from Killarney in Co Kerry, were in Australia visiting two of their daughters who live in Perth. It is understood the vehicle the family was travelling in collided with another car.

Gardaí have been involved in an international operation to break up a criminal network involved in skimming ATM cards. A total of 15 were arrested in three countries on Wednesday with some of the offences believed to have been committed in Ireland.
