Ryanair Forced To Cancel 70 Flights

Ryanair has been forced to cancel more than 70 flights to and from France today (Thursday 10 October) due to planned industrial action by French air traffic controllers.

The strike will have the largest impact in the southern of France, but is also impacting on flights that fly over the country.

The French civil aviation body has requested airlines reduce their flight schedules by 30% as a result.

Two flights between Ireland and France have been cancelled: FR22 Dublin-Paris Beauvais and FR23 Paris Beauvais-Dublin, while a full list of affected flights, is also being made available for those due to travel.

Robin Kiely, from Ryanair, said: "We sincerely apologise to all passengers who have had their travel plans disrupted by these unjustified ATC strikes.

"All passengers scheduled to fly on Thursday 10th October should check the status of their flight on the Ryanair.com website – where updates will be published – before travelling to the airport."
