Donegal Council Warns People Against Dumping For Bonfires
Donegal County Council have appealed to the public not to dump waste material at bonfire sites, after they removed some three tonnes of waste from just one site.
It is understood that waste is being both dumped and gathered for Halloween bonfires.
The council however reminded people that it is illegal to give waste to anyone who does not hold a valid waste collection permit.
The council is monitoring a number of locations in Donegal where waste material has been gathered before for bonfires.
