Search For Hillwalker Enters Third Day
The search for a missing hillwalker is continuing in Co Mayo.
The man, understood to be an experienced hillwalker, has been missing in the Mweelrea mountains since Tuesday.
It is understood that the man had been planning a "ridge walk" before returning to camp next to his car.
The Mayo and Cleggan mountain rescue teams are in their second day of the search and are being assisted by the Malin Head Coast Guard helicopter.
According to reports the man's car has been found, with his sleeping bag still inside.

Search Resumes On Mweelrea Mountain
A search has resumed on Mweelrea Mountain, Co Mayo, for a missing hillwalker. The walker, a male understood to be aged in his 30s, has not been seen since Tuesday night. The man's wife reported him missing. A search was launched on Wednesday involving the Coast Guard and Mayo Mountain Rescue but was ended when at nightfall.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.
