Man Seriously Injured In Traffic Collision
A man in his twenties has been seriously injured in a single vehicle traffic collision in Castlepollard Co. Westmeath.
The collision occurred on the R195 near Castlepollard shortly after 03:00 on Sunday morning when the man's car collided with a ditch.
He was taken by ambulance to Mullingar Hospital where his condition is believed to be serious.
Yesterday the road was closed to traffic and diversions were in place. Forensic collision investigators have been notified to attend the scene.

Man Dies In Galway Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Galway. The two-car collision happened on the main Gort to Ennis Road near the Galway-Clare border around 7:30am this morning. The victim is understood to be the driver of one of the vehicles, while the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and has been taken to hospital.

Witness Appeal Following Fatal Road Traffic Collision In Co Longford
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Co Longford on Sunday, 17 July. An 18-year-old male was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in, as a front seat passenger, collided with a tractor at approximately 11.50pm in Cloonart, Bornacoola. The man was pronounced dead at Mullingar Hospital.

The 27-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Saturday was Barry Murphy of Anneville Crescent, Dundalk, Co. Louth. They are investigating the fatal road traffic collision at Beamore Road, Drogheda. It occurred at approx 3.
