Gardaí Appeal For Help With Missing Dundalk Woman

Gardaí in Dundalk have appealed for help in tracing Catherine Crawley, who has been missing since Monday morning.

It is understood that she was last seen at St Alphonsus Road in Dundalk at around 11am.

She is described as being in her late 50s, around 5’5” in height, with light brown hair and wears glasses.

Catherine was wearing a Khaki jacket, black trousers and white runners on the day she disappeared.

Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí in Dundalk on 057 8674100.

Appeal Issued For Missing Co Louth Man
Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing 23-year-old Kenneth Fagan, who has been missing in Co Louth since 6 August. Mr Fagan, commonly known as Ken, was last seen in Dundalk at about 13:30 on Wednesday 6 August. He was wearing a blue zip-up hooded top with white strings, dark denim jeans and navy runners.

An investigation is underway after a family in Dundalk were robbed at knife-point. Gardaí said three masked men forced their way into the Dundalk family home of a restaurant owner. His wife and three children were also home at the time.

Gardaí Tackle Man With Meat Cleaver In Dundalk
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Dundalk after threatening gardaí with a meat cleaver. Two officers waiting in a gardaí van first spotted the man as he got into an altercation with another pedestrian in the town. Parking the van, the officers noticed that the man had white socks on his hands and was carrying a 6x4in blade meat cleaver.

Appeal Launched Over Aggravated Burglary In Louth
Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for the public’s assistance in relation to an aggravated burglary which occurred at a property at Ath Leathan, Racecourse Road, Dundalk, yesterday morning. The occupants awoke to find that five masked men had entered the house sometime before 8am. Two of these men were armed with what appeared to be handguns.
