Arrest Follows Skerries Body Discovery

Gardaí in Balbriggan have launched an investigation following the discovery of the body of a men in his 50s at a house in Mourne Park, Skerries, yesterday evening.

The body was found at about 18:00.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

A male in his late 20s was arrested nearby, shortly after the discovery of the body.

He is currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station.

Witnesses Sought Following Discovery Of A Man's Body In Kenmare, Co Kerry
Gardaí investigating the discovery of a man's body in Kenmare, Co Kerry on Thursday 24 October have issued an fresh appeal for information. Last Thursday, garda discovered the body of a man, aged in his 60s, at Clonee, Tuosist, following reports of a "possible road traffic collision" off the main Kenmare to Castletownbere Road.
