Man Admits Hit-And-Run That Killed Fourteen-Year-Old
A 32-year-old man has pleaded guilty to careless driving in a hit and run incident in which a teenage boy was killed.
14-year-old Conor Kickey, of St Attracta Road, Cabra, was hit by a car, which then failed to stop, in Cabra on the evening of 2 December 2011.
He died in hospital the following day.
Ruadhan Tracey, with an address at Lagore Green, Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, pleaded guilty to careless driving causing death at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court today.
Tracey was remanded in custody for sentencing next March.

An Australian man has been jailed for 18-and-a-half years for the murder of Irishman David Greene in Melbourne last year. 31-year-old Luke James Wentholt pleaded guilty to the murder of Mr Greene (30), of Cabinteely, Dublin, who died one month after being attacked in August 2012 at a boarding house.

Teen Admits False Rape Allegations Against Uncle
It has emerged that a girl who accused her uncle of raping her, lied under coercion from her mother. According to RTÉ the girl, now 18, has admitted that the allegation she made some eight years ago was false and that her mother had made her file the complaint against her uncle.

A 74-year-old man has been jailed for the sexual abuse of his daughter, which began when she was 3-years-old. The man admitted he had abused his daughter “once or twice a week” and pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to 22 counts of indecent assault on the now 44-year-old victim between 1972 and 1982.
