Stolen Tanker Driven Into Former Quinn Group HQ

A stolen oil tanker has been driven into the gates at the former headquarters of the Quinn Group in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh.

The incident happened at around 11pm on Wednesday, causing damage to the site. There are no reports of any injuries.

It is the latest in a number of attacks on former Quinn Group properties since the company was taken over by receivers in 2011.

Sean Quinn and his son are due back in a Dublin court later as the inquiry continues as to whether or not the former billionaires have complied with court orders. Sean Quinn was once the richest man in Ireland, but declared himself bankrupt last year.
