Met Éireann Issues Orange Weather Warning
Met Éireann has issued a weather warning with flooding also reported in Galway and Cork.
Gusts of up to 120km/h are expected to sweep across Ireland today.
An orange warning has been issued for counties Galway, Mayo, Wexford, Kerry, Cork, Clare, Waterford and Limerick.
Passing heavy showers, as well as hail and thunderstorms, are expected in places, with local flooding also causing problems.

Met Éireann Issues Snow Warning
Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for Ireland. The 'Status Yellow' alert for snow and ice is expected to be in place until at least 9pm this evening (2 March). The north and west of the country are expected to see the heaviest accumulation of snow and sleet over hills, while accumulations are also likely at lower levels.

Met Éireann said that south to southwest winds 50 to 65 km/hr, with gusts up 90 to 110 km/hr, are expected across the region.
