100 Jobs To Be Created By Tech Start-Up, Intercom

One hundred new jobs are to be created in Dublin by technology start-up Intercom.

The software engineering and design jobs are to created over the next 18 months as the company expands following a €17 million investment by two American venture capital funds.

It is understood that the company is developing a personal messaging service for web and mobile businesses.

Up to 900 jobs could be created at a new Kerry Group plant in Naas, Co Kildare. Up to 800 jobs will be in place within three years, while a further 100 positions are projected to be created when the 28-acre centre is fully commissioned by mid-2016. Over 50 New Jobs To Be Created In Co Mayo
Fifty five new jobs are to be created as part of a major expansion by Portwest in Westport, Co Mayo. The company, which makes protective and work clothing, has said it expects its turnover to increase from €125m to €250m by 2020.
