Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses After Cyclist Killed In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was killed on the City West Road at Brownsbarn Roundabout in Saggart on Monday evening.
According to gardaí a man in his 30s was knocked off his bicycle at around 17:20. He died a short time later at Tallaght Hospital.
Gardaí have asked for anyone who was in the area of City West Road between 17.20 and 17.30 on Monday evening or who may have any information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 - 6667600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

A man is under arrest over the discovery of suspected cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 in Sligo. Gardaí uncovered the drugs, along with a sum of cash, during a search of a property in Ballymote on Thursday evening, 16 January. A male in his 30s was arrested and remains in custody at Ballymote Garda Station.

Man Arrested Following Guns Discovery
A man has been arrested following the discovery of two guns in Dublin on Thursday evening. According to Gardaí, the man, aged 36, was searched by officers at Newlands Road, Lucan, at around 6.30pm. He was found to have two handguns and a small amount of cocaine. He was arrested and is currently being held at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal accident in Hospital, Co Limerick, in which a 44-year-old man was killed. The man was walking on Main Street in the town at about 2am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood no one else was injured in the incident.

Renewed Appeal Over Murder Of Taxi Driver
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for information on the murder of taxi driver Martin Mulligan. Mr Mulligan (53) was stabbed to death on 28 September following an altercation in Dundalk in Co Louth. It is believed the altercation began over an unpaid taxi fare.
