Irish Child Pornography Accused May Seek Judicial Review
Eric Eoin Marques, who is wanted in the US on charges relating to the distribution and advertising of child abuse images and videos, may seek leave for a judicial review over the Director of Public Prosecution'd decision not to prosecute him in Ireland.
28-year-old Marques, with an address at Mountjoy Square, Dublin, has been described as " the largest facilitator of child porn in the world" by US authorities.
It is alleged that Marques is the owner and administrator of anonymous web hosting site, Freedom Hosting, and has been in custody since his arrest in August.
A new legal team working for Marques has asked for more time as they are keen to seek advice on the case of Ali Charaf Damache.
It is understood that 48-year-old Damache has sought a judicial review of his case, in which he is wanted in the US on international terrorism charges.
