Body Recovered During Search In Cork

A body has been discovered during a search in west Cork for two tourists who have not been seen since Saturday afternoon.

The coastguard is continuing its search for the second man.

The two men, one German and one Dutch, had been staying in a holiday home.

They are believed to have gone for a walk along Sheep's Head.

The weather conditions were very poor with gale force winds.

Deaths Of Father And Daughter A 'Tragic Accident'
Gardai have reported that they are treating the deaths of a father and daughter as a 'tragic accident'. Their bodies were recovered from the sea in west Cork close to their home, following an extensive search on Wednesday. They have been named as Martin McCarthy, 50, of Foilnamuck and his three-year-old daughter Clarissa.

Experienced Divers Sought To Help In Body Search
West Cork Underwater Search and Rescue has appealed for experienced divers to help in the search for the body of Barry Davis Ryan. My Ryan (20) was walking with a group of people close to the Beacon last Tuesday when a wave swept one of the group into the sea.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Body Recovered By RNLI Off Cork Coast
The body of a man in his 60s has been recovered from the sea early this morning off west Cork following a major search co-ordinated by the Irish Coast Guard. The body was recovered by Castletownbere lifeboat at around 1.30am off Cod's Head between Allihies and Eyries on the Beara Peninsula.

Urgent Action Is Needed To Help Sheep Farmers - McMullan
Concerns have been raised over sheep farmers dealing with the falling lamb prices as a result of EU regulations. Sinn Féin is calling for "urgent action" to help the struggling sheep farmers and has proposed an immediate meeting with counterparts in the Dáil to discuss voluntary labelling to help the sheep farmers.
