Status Red Weather Warning Issued For Cork And Kerry
The highest level of weather warning, status red, is in effect for counties Cork and Kerry.
Met Éireann has issued the warning telling people to expected stormy conditions and high seas, along with winds gusting up to 160km/h in exposed coastal areas.
Counties Wexford, Galway, Mayo, Clare, Limerick and Waterford are also under a status orange weather warning with stormy weather and gusts of up to 130km/h expected.
And in counties Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo and Tipperary a status yellow warning is in place for extremely windy conditions.

Status Yellow Weather Warning Remains In Place
A Status Yellow weather warning remains in place for Counties Munster and Galway. Met Éireann have warned people to be "be aware" of continuing heavy rainfall throughout Monday, with a continued risk of flooding. The warning was issued at 11am this morning and remains in place midnight.

A severe weather warning has been issued for Connacht and west Ulster by Met Éireann. A status red, the highest alert, has been issued this evening for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. The Coast Guard has also issued warnings of storms and gusts of up to 150km/h in parts of the country.

Status Orange Weather Warning Extended
Met Éireann has renewed a Status Orange warning for heavy, and at times thundery rainfall, which could lead to flooding. The weather warning, which advises people to "be prepared", covers counties, Connacht, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary. The warning was issued at 05:00 on Friday and remains in place until 03:00 on Saturday morning.
