Woman And Children Rescued From Dublin House Fire

An investigation has been launched into a fire at a house in Darndale in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to reports a woman and two children were rescued from a house in Moatview Avenue after a fire broke out at around 05:20 this morning.

Six fire engines arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze, which is understood to have caused extensive damage.

Investigator will begin work on establishing how the fire started.

A woman has died in a house fire in Co Clare. The victim, in her 50s, was alone at the property in Derrynavaha, Craggah, when the fire started at around 7pm on Sunday night. Gardai are currently investigating the incident.

Dublin House Fire Victim 'Critical'
A man in his 50s is in a critical condition in hospital following a house fire in Dublin yesterday afternoon. The victim was taken from the house at Decies Road in Ballyfermot with severe burns and is currently being treated at St James's Hospital.

Two Die In Co Meath House Fire
Two people have died in a house fire in Co Meath, Gardaí have confirmed. It is understood the bodies of a man and a woman were found following a fire at a house in Heenogue, Duleek on Monday morning. The victims are believed to have been the residents of the house.

Dublin Fire Brigade Responds To 1,100 Calls On Halloween Night
Dublin Fire Brigade has revealed it responded to 1,100 emergency calls during Halloween night. On what is normally the service's busiest night of the year, there were also reports of attacks on fire crews while Dublin Bus was forced to withdraw its service in part of the city.
