Investigation Launched Into Co Offaly Man's Death
An investigation has been launched into the death of a 65-year-old man in Co Offaly.
The man's body was found on Sunday at a house in Sister Senan Court, an elderly accommodation area in Edenderry.
Gardaí searched the man's home after neighbours reported that they had not seen him for some time.
It is understood that the man had suffered severe head injuries.
The results of a post-mortem examination are due today.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Limerick Man Dies After Assault In Home
A 48-year-old man has died as a result of serious injuries he received in his own home after a serious assault. Gardaí have launched a murder investigation into the attack during which, Limerick man Joe O'Donnell, 48, of Hyde Road, suffered serious head wounds in the early hours of Friday morning.
